ACTON COMMUNITY PREPAREDNESS EFFORT

Help Us Be Ready by October 17, 2026

Our October 17 community preparedness event is approaching quickly, and we need to order supplies soon. The Los Angeles County Fire Department is generously donating 156 NOAA Weather Radios for local households. Acton Firewise is raising $3,000 to purchase Duracell AA batteries to provide backup power for the radios during power outages, along with 104 additional fire extinguishers so every one of the 174 households participating in our Firewise effort can receive one. We already have 70 fire extinguishers on hand, but we need your help to close the gap.

A donation today helps us place these orders in time and provide Acton residents with practical emergency-preparedness tools they can rely on when they are needed most.
